Did you know that feeling awestruck is a better stress reliever than other kinds of mental breaks? A study from University of California, Berkeley, shows that taking time out of your day to notice small wonders, like dewdrops on a blade of grass, can alleviate symptoms of stress in your body. Want to increase your lifespan? According to a new study published in JAMA Internal Medicine, people who feel younger live longer.

The researchers asked individuals aged 52 and older, “How old do you feel you are?” Throughout the follow-up period, the mortality rate among those who felt younger was 14.3%. For those who perceived themselves to be the age they were, the rate was slightly higher, at 18.5%. And among those who said they felt older than they were, 24.6% passed away during the intervention. How old do YOU feel you are?
