Teletherapy allows you to get the help where you are. We use teletherapy because we know it can make getting help more easier, faster and more convenient. Now you don't have to rush to be one more place during the day, or have to worry about transportation issues or how to get the kids from daycare. Teletherapy puts more power in your hands so that you can fit therapy into your schedule instead of the other way around.
Some agencies do "walk-in" assessments. How soon you get seen during a walk in assessment is dependent on how early you arrive and how many people are in line in front of you. Our electronic assessment, can be used for state-required OWI evaluations and substance abuse evaluations. We do need to meet you face-to-face but we can do it in less time or even over a lunch hour if you prefer. Our electronic assessment is like getting a fast pass where you get to move to the front of the line. That's because at Still Waters our assessment results are instantaneous because no one has to score them before you're seen. If you need treatment our computer program and phone app allow you to do portions of your therapy on your own time in your own space. Additionally, the phone app is a tool you can take with you so anywhere so that that you have an invaluable resource at your fingertips one that can go with you where ever you're at. Clients who work during treatment hours or who are on the road find this to be a very convenient option. Likewise, our online meetings can be done anywhere you get a signal. You can either log in and participate in the group by seeing the leader's screen or you can participate through an audio only option. Plus, we do our therapy group on Saturday mornings which minimizes time off from work for most working people. |
